The consolidated Georgia State University Library is in a state of transition, with some e-resources consolidated, some available to GSU Atlanta Campus users and some available only to Perimeter College users. Without going into too much detail, this availability depends on our licensing agreements with the various providers of these resources.
If you are being prompted for GSU username and password, you have two options: One is to try to get your GSU username and password. The other is to search for items that don't require GSU username and password.
Option 1: To get your GSU credentials, see the Accounts and Passwords - User ID website. (Notice that there is also info on that page in the left column for contacting the help desk by phone or email if you are having issues.)
Option 2: To get to items that don't require the GSU username and password, use a Perimeter College database or a GALILEO database that doesn't require GSU ID -- most EBSCO and ProQuest databases fall in this category, as well as LexisNexis. For articles, we especially recommend Academic Search Complete and Opposing Viewpoints, For ebooks, try Ebooks on EBSCOHost.
Please contact a librarian if you need additional help.
