Retired staff* (including Georgia Perimeter College retirees) and part-time instructors have the same borrowing privileges as current Georgia State University staff.

Georgia State University also extends borrowing privileges to alumni, visiting scholars, ARCHE members, and other visitors

Please refer to the library’s Borrowing Policy page for more details about all borrower categories.

*For retirees to establish borrowing privileges, you will need to follow these steps:

  • You’ll need to get a “Retiree” Panthercard from the Panthercard office

  • Make sure your new Panthercard is connected to your Library account by stopping by or calling the service desk on any campus library.

  • Be sure to check your GSU email regularly. The Library will communicate with you through your GSU Email. Also, the Campus ID system will send you notices when you need to set a new Campus ID password.

For more help, ask a librarian.
