OPAC stands for "Online Public Access Catalog". This term is library jargon for the website you use to search the holdings of a single library (like GIL-Find@GSU) or a group of libraries (like GIL-Find UC).
An OPAC contains records for all of the physical items in the library, such as books, journals, and DVDs, but it can also contain records for electronic items, such as databases, ebooks, and websites. OPACs are a great place to start your research!
