The GIL Universal Catalog shows the library collections for the all the schools that make up the University System of Georgia (USG). The catalog also includes the collections of the Georgia Archives.
Through the Universal Catalog, students, staff, and faculty may request items from USG schools to be sent to their location for pickup. This is called a GIL Express request. Instructions for placing a request are here.
Students, staff, and faculty also may check out books in person at any USG school with a PantherCard.
Not all materials may be available for request or check out. Items that are checked out, missing, or lost are unavailable to request. Each school can choose the materials they are willing to loan, and may not allow requests on some items.
