When items are overdue for a while, the system automatically assigns a "lost" status to the item and you will be responsible for the replacement cost including any processing fees. If you still have the item, turn it back into the library and we'll forgive the lost fine, but the overdue fine will still be your responsibility. If you believe the item is on your account in error, or that the overdue is an error, visit your campus library service desk or email library circulation. We will do whatever we can to resolve the issue.

Note that many people who think they have returned an item later find it under their car seats or their bed, so you might want to double check those places first!

For more help, ask a librarian.
