I'm a GSU student, but I'm taking this semester off. Can I still use the library?

You're welcome to visit the Georgia State University campus libraries to study, read, use the computers, ask librarians questions, etc. However, you only have borrowing privileges when you are a currently enrolled student.  In other words, you can't check out books, videos, or other library materials during semesters you're not taking classes unless you are a member of a special borrowers group such as retirees or alumni.

Be aware that your computer access may also be limited to priority to currently enrolled students, and if you wish to print, you may be required to purchase a visitor card. These cards cost $1 (cash only), and you will have to add funds to this card in dollar increments.

You will need to follow the visitor policy for each campus and be prepared to show either your Panther card or photo ID.

For more help, ask a librarian.
