HathiTrust makes accessible a vast collection of works from an international community of research libraries. The collection includes more than 16 million volumes, nearly 6 million of which are in the public domain. GSU users get access to the largest number of volumes and features by logging in with their institutional credentials, including the ability to download PDFs of public domain works, and works made available under Creative Commons licenses.

To log in, click the yellow login button and then select Georgia State University as your partner institution, as shown in the image below. Next, you will log in with your GSU CampusID and Password.

TEMPORARY ADDITIONAL ACCESS DURING COVID-19:

Logging in now gives you access to the HathiTrust Emergency Temporary Access Service. This provides access to in-copyright works held by USG libraries which are in the HathiTrust collection. Access to books is for 60 minutes; however, any session will be extended if the user is still actively using the book. To protect the author’s rights, books cannot be downloaded in any way; they may only be read online in an active session while using HathiTrust.

For more help, ask a librarian.
