Book drop space and library staffing are limited, so we prefer that you hold onto your items for the rest of the semester. You will not be charged fines and there will not be no new holds placed on your registration, etc.
If you are going to be outside the Atlanta area, but in Georgia, when libraries reopen, you can return any items from University System Libraries, including Georgia State, to their home library via our GIL Express system.
However, if you are going to leave Georgia or will be in an area that so returning the items will not be practical when libraries reopen, you can return items by dropping them in a book drop at any USG library. Not all libraries have outside bookdrops, so you might want to verify first.
