Yes! Each semester the Library offers in-person workshops in different software, databases and research skills. Some of the classes we've offered in the past include:

  • Citation Management Systems (Zotero, EndNote)
  • Scholarly Impact Tools (InCites, Altmetrics, Google Scholar)
  • Subject-specific Databases (PubMed, Web of Science)
  • Data Management and Analysis (NVivo, ArcGIS)
  • Research Essentials (Avoiding Academic Dishonesty, Discovering Articles, Books, Media & More)

Visit the Library Workshops & Events page for current workshops being offered.

Recordings:

We also have a great selection of webinars archived on a range of topics such as search basics, evaluating sources for credibility, and literature research.

Research Data Services have their own archive of recorded workshops. This will include recordings on SAS, SPSS, NVivo, and Tableau.
