I want to copy part of a book for my students. Can you tell me if I'm violating copyright laws?

The library encourages faculty, graduate students, and undergraduate students to read the University System of Georgia's Policy on the Use of Copyrighted Works in Education and Research and review the USG Fair Use Checklist to determine whether you are in violation of copyright rules.

You may learn more about copyright and Fair Use on our  research guide.

If you would like legal advice regarding copyright or your author's rights, contact GSU Legal Affairs.
