My account is blocked because of overdue books. How can I fix this?

Blocked accounts can be resolved by returning overdue materials to the library and paying outstanding fines. A blocked account may result in suspension of borrowing privileges and a "library hold" being placed on your Georgia State University student account. If you have a blocked account, you will not be able to request or renew materials. Check your library account for details.

To pay for a library fine, please visit our FAQ on how to pay for library fines.

If you believe a hold on your account has been placed in error, contact contact the library service desk at your campus for more help.  You can also email the library circulation team.
