GSU has two great databases that you can use to research current social issues: Opposing Viewpoints and CQ Researcher.

You can gain access to both from the GSU Library homepage or the Databases A-Z List. Your GSU user name and password are required to access these databases off-campus.

If you would like more information about researching Current topics, you might want to look at two research guides.  Current Issues gives an overview of current topics resources.  Current topics with video instruction gives a similar overview and includes video demonstrations about databases and other research tools.

You may also wish to use other databases for your research.  Look at Databases by Subject (on the library homepage) for recommended databases for your topic.  Two databases that are especially helpful for many subjects are Academic Search Complete and Lexis Nexis Academic.
