The Clarkston, Dunwoody, Newton, and Alpharetta libraries have rock and mineral sets for their campus geology classes for students to check out for 2 hours. All are in-library-use only except Alpharetta, which is on-campus use only. You will need your Panther Card (student id) to use these items.

At the Decatur campus, rock and mineral sets are at the Learning and Tutoring Center in the F building.

At the Dunwoody campus, rock and mineral sets are available at the user services/circulation desk located in the LRC building (main floor).

For Online geology students, Alpharetta, Clarkston, Dunwoody and Newton have sets for Historical Geology. These are two-hour check out, in-library use only. (Alpharetta's are on-campus use only.)

Students enrolled in online Geology I Lab (GEOL 1121L) can check out a rock kit for the whole semester at the Clarkston or Dunwoody Campus Libraries during normal business hours. You will need your Panther Card to check out any materials. Contact your instructor with questions about the rock kit.

For library hours and directions please refer to the Visit the Library page.
