GSU Chat/ Virtual Reference is staffed by real, live human librarians who work at Georgia State University Library (all campuses). To view the hours chat is serviced, please visit the library hours page. The Online Help hours are when chat is staffed and available.

It can take us a moment to compose a response to your question and sometimes we can get busy with multiple questions. If it's been more than a minute and someone still hasn't responded, it may be that the last librarian on duty forgot to sign off and no one is actually on the other end. If that is the case, we sincerely apologize and encourage you to use Help and Answers (aka FAQ) to search for an answer to your question or email Ask a Librarian or send us a text at (404) 419-7368 and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

If it's during library hours, the quickest way to get a response is to call your campus library. For subject-specific questions, Atlanta campus students may wish to contact a Subject Librarian.
