I got a notice that says I owe money for a lost book, but I haven't lost it! What can I do?

When items are overdue for a while, the computer automatically assigns a "lost" status to the item.  If you still have the item, turn it back into the library, and we'll forgive the lost fine and charge you the overdue fine. There may be an additional processing fee. If you believe you have turned the item in, contact the library circulation or user services desk, and we'll see if we can locate the item and resolve the situation.
