Search the GIL-Find library catalog to find a book (or a DVD, GSU thesis, or a particular journal or newspaper). It can also be located on the library's homepage in the search tab labeled Catalog. This search will include all the library’s ebooks in addition to print ones.

The video below will show you step-by-step instructions on how to search the library catalog.

If you are looking for works by a specific author, use the advanced search feature. As shown in the screenshot below, the first drop-down menu will allow you to select Author/creator. You can also use this advanced search to search for a specific title.

In advanced search in the catalog, you can specify if your search term is the title or the author.

Use the options under “Tweak My Results” to limit by format (audio, video, book, etc.) and select online only.

If GSU does not own the book, you can request the book from another USG Library via GIL Express.

For more help, ask a librarian.
