Can I request books from the catalog to be picked up at the same campus library?

It is not necessary to request books from the campus that owns the book. Processing requests may take up to a day, so it is usually most efficient for you to visit the library, find the book on the shelf, and check it out at the service desk. If you are not coming to the library that day, you may wish to place a request to hold the book. Note: You cannot request equipment or books from Course Reserves or Reference.

You may request books from another GSU campus through the intercampus loan, other University System of Georgia (USG) libraries through GIL Express, or books outside the USG through Interlibrary Loan.
